Meet Andrea
Hi, I’m Andrea Juliao, Head of Marketing at Putler – a multichannel business analytics tool. With over a decade of experience in digital marketing, my journey began as a Content Writer in 2014. Since then, I’ve worn many hats—contributing to SEO, managing customer onboarding, nurturing partnerships, driving sales, and much more. The journey continues, and every step has been an exciting challenge.
What inspired you to create Putler, and how has it evolved since its inception?
Putler was originally created to address a specific need: simplifying and speeding up PayPal sales analytics. Initially shared with a select group of customers, their overwhelming support pushed us to make it available to a broader audience.
Today, Putler has evolved far beyond its beginnings. It’s now a comprehensive multichannel business analytics tool, integrating with 17+ leading payment gateways, shopping carts, eCommerce platforms, Google Analytics, and more.
Beyond delivering detailed reports, Putler offers personalized insights across all areas of your business—Sales, Orders, Products, Customers, and Website Traffic. It doesn’t stop at the numbers; Putler empowers businesses with features like unlimited segmentation, goal tracking, forecasting, and more, ensuring you stay ahead at every step.
How does Putler differentiate itself from other eCommerce analytics tools?
There are a few key differentiators that differentiate Putler from other eCommerce analytics tools.
Seamless Data Consolidation
Putler integrates with 17+ platforms, making it the go-to solution for businesses looking to centralize data from multiple sources. Whether it’s syncing data across multiple payment gateways, stores, or websites, Putler brings everything into one place effortlessly.
eCommerce + SaaS Metrics
Unlike typical analytics tools, Putler caters to both eCommerce and SaaS businesses. It provides detailed eCommerce reports alongside essential SaaS metrics, offering a comprehensive view of your business performance.
Automatic Multi-Timezone and Multi-Currency Handling
Managing multiple stores, platforms, or websites often comes with challenges like timezone discrepancies and currency conversions. Putler eliminates these hurdles by automatically managing timezone adjustments and currency conversions, reducing human error and simplifying operations.
More Than Just Numbers
Putler goes beyond basic reports and insights. With advanced features like segmentation, forecasts, goal tracking, and more, it empowers businesses to make data-driven decisions and achieve their objectives with precision.
Can you elaborate on the customer segmentation and analysis capabilities of Putler?
There are three ways you can segment customers within Putler.
1. Using RFM Segmentation – Putler has a ready-to-use RFM segmentation feature. It looks at 3 parameters (recency, frequency and monetary value) of your customer base and divides them into 11 segments. Simply click on the segment and Putler loads all the customers that fall in that segment instantly.
2. Using predefined filters – Putler has some predefined filters (facets) that allow you to sift through data based on multiple parameters like Location, Products Bought, Refund Rate, Type of Customers and a lot more.
3. Using custom segments – You are not just limited to RFM, predefined filters, Putler also allows users to create their own custom segments.
How does Putler support decision-making for marketing campaigns?
Marketing companies can use Putler to take informed decisions based on their past data. They can use Putler to identify key insights like:
1. Top products
2. Top customers
3. Top performing channels
4. Products that are purchased frequently
5. Top locations
Marketing teams can also use Putler to understand customer personas, track sales goals, export data, understand trends, find returning customers, figure out refunds and a lot more.
How do you see AI and machine learning impacting analytics tools like Putler?
AI is transforming the way analytics is consumed, and its impact is undeniable. At Putler, we’re already exploring innovative ways to harness the power of AI to deliver more personalized, precise, and actionable data across the board.
What advice would you give to startups entering the SaaS space?
