Hi this not specifically about starthost but in general you need to very careful when buying a LTD for hosting.
In my opinion, even if they are good now I would never get any ltd on hosting unless for testing or not important purpose because there is a risk with sustainability and quality of service over time because hosting is a very competitive market.
I have seen many hosting which started great from personal experience but went down in the quality of service even with monthly pricing model so when we compare it with an LTD we can’t really guarantee what we will get after few months.
If you want to host some test sites or non-important purpose then you can try it out but if you planning for one of the main sites then I would advise staying away from LTD hosting.

Few things, you should never buy on LTD. Hosting is one of them. Imagine you hosting your site, and all your data is gone? ? Stick with AWS, DigitalOcean etc.

Never. Never ever, buy LTD hosting. Anyone can buy a cPanel and resell online. The moment they stop paying, your site disappears with 0 recourse because their company is based in some new country that is not even on the maps yet.

Lifetime hosting deals rarely last. The lifetime deal formula does not work well with hosting because of large, ongoing fixed costs for providers.
To sustain the lifetime deals they sell, hosting companies must find MRR (monthly recurring revenue). And that is difficult because website hosting is very competitive among vendors.
But if you need short term hosting of a year or so it can work out. But back everything up – just in case.

Doing this web stuff since 2004. Skip LTD. A decent and cheap hosting starts at $3 a month. That’s sufficient enough for small sites and doesn’t burn your wallet. Hey, that costs a cup of coffee in some countries!

Anything related to hosting and LTD? Stay away. They wont be able to survive without MRR.
