How does this compare to a typical Web clipper?
First, the main difference that’s it’s not a separate app; instead, it’s connected directly to your mailbox.
Since it connects with your email inbox, it can be used any devices such as in any internet-enabled browser mobiles, tablets, and pc, even in a guest device without installing anything.
Similar to clippers, it also removes ads and distractions when turning webpage into an email. It also offers around five ways to bookmark.
It also has a PDF snapshot feature to capture the webpage as a screenshot and attach it to the email file attachment.

It was on stacksocial before?
That deal was done in late 2018. Since then, EmailThis has improved significantly. Features have been added. Hence the increase in the price of both regular premium plans (it used to be $12 per year).
Some of the improved features include:
1. The article extraction algorithm has been improved quite a lot. It now handles many edge cases and many complex website layouts in a much better manner.
2. Support for saving to Kindle has been added.
3. PDF generation has improved to make it look as close as possible to the original site.
4. Some websites that are behind ‘login wall’ (web pages that require login or signup) failed earlier. But recently, support for such sites has been added when these pages are saved using our browser addon.
