Ghislain Predimail Interview

Meet Ghislain

Hi, I’m Ghislain. I run IT and software companies focused on building digital products for businesses. Over the years, we’ve developed several tools, including mobile applications and SaaS platforms, mainly around productivity and automation.

My background is very hands-on: working closely with real users, understanding operational pain points, and building solutions that actually fit into daily workflows.

What inspired you to build Predimail?

About two years ago, we had just finished developing a mobile application. We had invested heavily in it, but the commercial results didn’t meet expectations.

At the same time, AI tools were becoming more accessible. I started using AI daily to write emails, but it was very inefficient — constantly copying, pasting, re-reading threads, and adjusting responses.

That’s when it clicked: the real problem wasn’t writing emails faster — it was having the right context to write the right answer.

Predimail was born from that realization.

Can you walk us through how Predimail works day-to-day?

Predimail connects directly to your existing inbox (Gmail, Outlook, or SMTP).

On a daily basis, it does three main things:

  • Automatically classifies emails based on content and intent
  • Highlights priority messages, so you immediately see what matters
  • Generates smart drafts or replies using your company knowledge

Instead of starting from scratch, users get context-aware drafts that they can validate or edit.

The goal is simple: reduce the mental load behind email, not just the typing.

What makes Predimail different from traditional email tools?

Most email tools focus on speed — helping you write faster.

Predimail focuses on accuracy and context.

The key difference is the shared knowledge base:

  • Responses are based on real company information
  • Teams stay consistent in their communication
  • AI doesn’t “guess” — it uses structured knowledge

Also, our classification system acts as a smart filter, almost like an AI-powered anti-spam, helping users focus instantly on important emails.

How has the product evolved since launch? What’s your long-term vision for Predimail?

Initially, Predimail started as a simple AI writing assistant.

Very quickly, we realized that writing wasn’t the main bottleneck — the real challenge was understanding emails, prioritizing them, and ensuring consistent responses across a team.

So the product evolved into a more complete solution with:

  • Intelligent email classification
  • Knowledge-based response generation
  • Workflow automation at the inbox level

Now, we’re going even further with a strong focus on team and organizational productivity.

We are currently building features such as:

  • Centralized email signature management at the organization level
  • Multi-tenant and multi-organization support, allowing agencies and IT providers to manage multiple clients from a single interface
  • Advanced admin controls to monitor and optimize how teams handle emails

Our long-term vision is to make Predimail a single control layer for email productivity.

Not just an assistant for individuals, but a platform where administrators can:

  • Structure communication
  • Ensure consistency across teams
  • Automate repetitive tasks
  • And continuously improve how email workflows are handled

Ultimately, Predimail becomes a true AI-powered operating system for email, bridging communication, knowledge, and execution.

What problem in email management were you trying to solve?

The real problem is decision fatigue.

Every email requires:

  • Understanding context
  • Finding the right information
  • Deciding how to respond

This is where most of the time is lost.

Predimail reduces that cognitive load by:

  • Structuring incoming emails
  • Surfacing what’s important
  • Providing ready-to-use answers

What’s the biggest misconception about AI email assistants?

That they are just “better writing tools.”

In reality, writing is only a small part of the problem.

Without context, AI produces generic answers.

The real value comes from:

  • Context
  • Memory (knowledge base)
  • Consistency across a team

That’s what most tools are missing.

What advice would you give to entrepreneurs looking to enter the SaaS space?

Don’t start with a feature — start with a workflow.

Too many SaaS products solve isolated problems that don’t fit into real usage.

Focus on:

  • Where users lose time
  • What they repeat every day
  • What requires mental effort

And build something that integrates naturally into their existing tools.

How do you see AI transforming email over the next few years?

Email will shift from a manual tool to a semi-autonomous system.

We’ll see:

  • Automatic prioritization
  • AI-generated responses becoming standard
  • Full workflow automation directly from emails

Eventually, users won’t manage emails — they’ll supervise AI handling them.

Did you enjoy our interview? Do you have anything to say to our community?

Yes, absolutely.

If there’s one thing I’d say to the SaaSPirate community:

Don’t just look for tools that save time — look for tools that reduce mental effort.

That’s where the real productivity gains are.

And if you’re curious about where email is going, now is definitely the right time to explore AI-driven workflows.
