Black Friday Dedicated Server Deals List

1GServers

A. Company Information

So first on the list is 1GServers.

Basically, this is a privately-held company. They are not funded by some big investors or anything like that. They started in 2012 and are based in Phoenix, Arizona, providing bare-metal dedicated servers.

The reason they even exist is actually very interesting. The founder, he needed a 1Gbps connection for his work, and what he found was that all the options available in the market were consistently oversold and just not reliable. So he just went and started 1GServers to fix this problem. His whole idea was to provide high-bandwidth, high-performance servers with network ports that are not shared or oversold. You get what you pay for. This has really become their main selling point, they are a no-frills provider for people who need a lot of bandwidth.

Their entire operation is in just one data center in Phoenix Arizona. This location was picked very carefully. The reason is that Phoenix has a very low risk of natural disasters like earthquakes or hurricanes, all these things. This means the servers are in a very stable environment. The building itself is very robust, it has armed security, extra networking and cooling, and a 100% uptime Service Level Agreement or SLA. I mean, the power setup alone is a key feature, with four 10-megawatt power feeds and on-site generators. So that is what it does.

B. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offers

Now let us take a look into their Black Friday offers for 2024.

When I analyzed their promotions from last year, I saw a dynamic pricing strategy. What happens is, they posted on different forums in November 2024, and the configurations and prices were slightly different. This seems to suggest the offers were in limited stock and got updated as things sold out.

A good example is their “Best Performing Server” deal. An early post listed a Dual E5-2690v4 server with 128GB of RAM and two 1.6TB NVMe SSDs for just $95 a month. But then a later post, a more detailed one, listed that same server for $105 a month. The $95 price was then for a server with only half the storage. This tells me the first $95 deal with the huge storage was like a limited “doorbuster” offer. It sold out fast and they replaced it.

So I have put together a table of all the configurations they advertised during that time.

Offer Name / ReferenceCPURAMStorageNetwork / BandwidthBlack Friday Price (Monthly)
“Best Performing Server” (Early Offer)Dual E5-2690v4 (28c/56t)128GB DDR4 ECC2x 1.6TB NVMe200TB/mo on 10Gbps$95/mo
“Best Performing Server” (Later Offer)Dual E5-2690v4 (28c/56t)128GB DDR4 ECC2x 1.6TB NVMe200TB/mo on 10Gbps$105/mo

C. Black Friday 2024 Details

The deals for 2024 were announced in November and they ran through the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend. All the deals also came with discounts on upgrades, something like 25% off RAM upgrades and 50% off if you wanted more storage.

But the main value, to be honest, was a free bonus upgrade. This was really cool. To get it, you had to order a server and then reply to their community forum post with your order number. It is a smart way to get the community talking while giving a lot of value.

Here were the bonuses:

  • For 1Gbps servers: You get a free upgrade to 1Gbps unmetered bandwidth.
  • For 10Gbps servers: You get a free extra 200TB per month of data transfer.

Remember this, these discounts are a huge reduction from their normal prices. A standard Dual E5-2690v4 server usually starts at $109 a month with less RAM and storage, and a regular 10Gbps unmetered server costs over $500. So getting that $80 server with a free 1Gbps unmetered upgrade was an exceptional deal.

One thing to note, these promotions were only for new services. You could not use them to replace a server you already had with them.

6. GoDaddy

A. Company Information

Everyone knows GoDaddy. They are a huge provider of web hosting and domain registration services, started way back in 1997. 7. HostSlick

A. Company Information

Okay, the next one we are looking at is HostSlick.

Now HostSlick Internet Services, they started in 2016, and they are based in the Netherlands. The main thing they always talk about, and this is very important, is that they are not a reseller. What happens is, they own their own hardware and their own network, which is AS208046. This is a big deal because it means they have more control over everything, you know, the performance and reliability of the service they provide.

Their hardware is all in a place called Lelystad Mediatoren in the Netherlands, it is near Amsterdam. And they say something very unique, that the data center is “highly secured and located within a Tower” and the servers are “hosted 70 meters above the ground.” I am not sure what the height does but it sounds impressive. Basically they control everything from the router to the server hardware themselves.

B. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offers

Now for their Black Friday deals in 2024, HostSlick actually had several different offers for different types of users. They also had a 20% recurring discount on all their other servers on their website, you just had to use a coupon code for that.

Let us look at the main deals they pushed.

  • Offer 1: “DEDICATED SERVER STORAGE DEAL”
    • This one was for people who needed a lot of storage space.
    • It had a Dual Intel XEON E5-2690v3 CPU, that is 24 cores and 48 threads. 64GB of DDR4 RAM. For storage, you get one 512GB SSD for the operating system, you know, for speed, and then four 4TB hard drives for all your data. And it had Hardware RAID. The network was a 10Gbit Port but with 1Gbit unmetered bandwidth. The price for this was 115€ a month, billed monthly.
  • Offer 2: “DEDICATED SERVER 35€/MONTH DEAL”
    • Then they had this super value-focused package. I mean, this one was very aggressive.
    • It came with a Dual Intel XEON E5-2660v2, so 20 cores and 40 threads. A huge 128GB of DDR3 ECC RAM. Storage was two 1TB hard drives, also with Hardware RAID. The network here was a 10Gbit Port but with 50TB of Bandwidth. The price was crazy, just 35€ a month if you paid for a year, or 45€ if you paid for six months.

They had a couple of other deals as well, a 55€ and a 75€ per month option, which were kind of mid-tier choices with good specs for the price.

C. Black Friday 2024 Details

Okay, now let us look at the details because this is where it gets really smart. The most clever part of these deals is how they managed the network.

You see, there is a strategic trade-off here. The expensive 115€ “Storage Deal” which is for backups and all these things, it gets a slower 1Gbit port, but that port is unmetered. You can use as much as you want. But the cheap 35€ “Compute Deal”, which has lots of RAM and cores for applications, it gets a much faster 10Gbit port, but the bandwidth is capped at 50TB.

So why do they do this. The reason is, it is a very deliberate network management strategy. People who need huge storage for backups, they are put on the slower unmetered port so they do not slow down the network for everyone else. And the people who need high speed for their apps, they get the 10Gbit port but they are capped. Simple as that. It is a way to balance the network load and stop the high-volume users from messing up performance for the speed-sensitive clients. I personally felt this was a really smart move.

8. Hostinger

A. Company Information

The next one is Hostinger. Hostinger is a huge global provider, they offer everything from shared hosting, cloud hosting, VPS, and of course dedicated servers. Their whole focus is on being cost-effective. They really aim for affordability and making things easy to use.

  • Duration: The promotion ran for an extended period, not just one day.

9. Hostwinds

A. Company Information

Hostwinds is a company that started in 2010. Their goal was to help small businesses with hosting that did not cost a fortune. They offer fully managed dedicated servers, and their main focus is on being flexible and providing good quality support. They have become quite popular in the small business market.

  • Scope: The discount was available for all of their customizable server setups.

10. InMotion Hosting

A. Company Information

Next is InMotion Hosting. This is a big US-based provider from Virginia Beach. They market themselves as a “leader in premium web hosting services”. Their main selling points are their SSD-powered servers, 24/7 customer support, free SSL certificates, and malware protection. They give you a choice of data centers in the US and Europe.

B. Key Features

  • They offer high-performance hosting for very large workloads.
  • You get plenty of dedicated resources.
  • They have both SSD and NVMe storage options.
  • Free backup storage is included.
  • You can get up to 1024GB of DDR5 RAM which is massive.
  • They include website transfers and server setup.
  • Custom setups are available if you need something specific.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer

  • Discount: They had a discount of up to 60% off their dedicated servers.
  • Sale Duration: The sale ran for a whole month, from November 4 to December 3, 2024.
  • Standard Plans:
    • Their “Advanced” Plan with a Xeon E-2176G CPU, 64GB DDR4 RAM, and two 1TB SSDs was on sale.
    • Their “Elite” Plan with a Xeon E-2388G CPU, 128GB DDR4 RAM, and two 1.92TB NVMe SSDs was also discounted.

D. Black Friday 2024 Details

Okay, the strategy for InMotion Hosting’s Black Friday was a bit different. They did not promote specific, super cheap server configurations. Instead, what they did was adopt a broad marketing approach. They promoted a big percentage-off discount that you could apply to their regular list of servers. The reason they do this is to use an attractive discount to get new customers into their main sales process, not just to clear out old inventory.

Restrictions: Remember this, these prices were for NEW ACCOUNTS ONLY. They clearly stated the discounts could not be used for plan renewals.

Bandwidth Clarity: This is important. There was a big contradiction in their marketing. One place said “Unlimited bandwidth usage” but then right after it said, “you’re charged based on resource consumption.” This means “unlimited” is just a marketing term for an unmetered port, but you will likely get billed for the total amount of data you transfer.

11. InterServer

A. Company Information

The next one we have is InterServer.

They are a hosting provider known for being reliable, you know they have good uptime and their plans are affordable. They are pretty flexible actually, with shared hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, all these things. They have built a good presence in the market by having competitive prices and focusing on customer service.

B. Key Features

So, what are their main features?

  • First, they are reliable with good uptime.
  • The plans are affordable, which is a big plus.
  • You get unlimited storage and free SSL certificates.
  • They have 24/7 customer support.
  • They also offer free website migration if you are moving from another host.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer

  • Discount: For Black Friday, their discount was up to 50% off on dedicated servers.
  • Example Pricing: For example you could get a dedicated server starting at just $49.00 a month. That was for a server with 4GB of RAM, 500GB Storage, and 5TB of Bandwidth.
  • Additional: They also included free migration services for new customers.
  • Scope: This discount covered all of their dedicated server options.

12. IONOS (by 1&1)

A. Company Information

Alright, next up is IONOS. You might know them as 1&1.

Now this is a big one. IONOS is a huge European technology company, they were founded in Germany way back in 1988. Unlike a lot of the smaller providers we have talked about, IONOS is actually a big corporation, publicly-traded and all these things.

What this means is they have a massive, geo-redundant infrastructure. They operate a lot of data centers all over the world, in Germany, the UK, Spain, and multiple places in the US. Their scale is just huge. They also have two different types of products, what they call “Dedicated Servers” which is the normal monthly billing, and then they have “Bare Metal Servers,” which is more for enterprise and is billed per-minute.

B. Key Features

  • They have multiple data center locations globally.
  • Full root access so you can customize the server configurations.
  • They provide support around the clock.
  • You can get both AMD and Intel server options.
  • The pricing models are pretty competitive, especially for a company of this size.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offers

The Black Friday deals they had in 2024 were for their traditional “Dedicated Server” product line, not the “Bare Metal” one.

  • Offer 1: “AR6-32 SSD”
    • This was their main advertised deal.
    • The server had 16GB RAM, 480GB of storage, unlimited traffic, and full root access.
    • The Black Friday Price was $64.00 a month.
    • The regular price is $75.00 a month, so the discount was about 15%.
  • Offer 2: “AE32-256 NVMe”
    • This was a higher-end server they listed, but to be honest, it did not seem to have any extra discount. The price was the same as the regular price.

D. Black Friday 2024 Details

Okay, now for the Black Friday details. This is very important to understand their strategy.

You probably saw ads from IONOS claiming discounts of “up to 93% off.” But when you look closely, the actual discount on a dedicated server was only 15%. So what is happening here?

What happens is, that huge 93% discount was only for their cheapest, entry-level shared hosting plan. Something like making a $10 a month plan just 50 cents a month for a limited time. The reason they do this is it is a marketing tactic. They use this massive, eye-catching discount on a low-value product to create a “halo effect” and get excitement for the whole brand. People come to their website looking for the 93% off, and then they see the other products, like the dedicated servers which have a much smaller discount. It is a very common marketing strategy, you know, something like that.

13. Leapswitch Networks

A. Company Information

Okay, the next one is Leapswitch Networks. This is an Indian hosting provider.

They are really focused on providing high-performance dedicated servers for businesses in India, and also globally. A big thing for them is that they operate multiple data center locations inside India, in places like Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi. This is great for the Indian market because it means lower latency and better performance for local users.

B. Key Features

  • They use the latest Intel Xeon processors.
  • They offer high-speed memory configurations.
  • They use RAID-1 arrays for data redundancy.
  • The port speed is 1000 Mbps.
  • You can choose between multiple operating systems like Linux or Windows.
  • You get 24/7 customer support and a 99.96% network and power uptime guarantee.
  • They provide free DDoS protection and you get root access for full control.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer

  • Discount: For Black Friday, they offered up to 50% off.
  • Pricing: Prices were starting from around ₹3,500, which is about $43.75 per month.
  • You could get servers with up to 128GB RAM and up to 3.84TB of storage with 10TB of bandwidth. They had many different configurations available.

14. Liquid Web

A. Company Information

Okay now for Liquid Web. These guys have been around for a very long time, since 1997.

They specialize in premium, high-availability managed hosting solutions. Basically, their target market is small and medium-sized businesses who want a hosting solution where they do not have to worry about the technical stuff.

Their whole brand is built on what they call “people-powered” 24/7/365 expert support and a 100% uptime guarantee. So you are paying a premium price, but the idea is that they handle everything for you. It is a “white glove” service.

Important Note: But, there is an important note here. This is very important. While their marketing is all about this amazing support, I found a detailed report from 2024 that tells a very different story. The report described a catastrophic support failure that lasted for 6 weeks and said the support quality has gone down a lot, maybe because of outsourcing. This is a big risk, you know, because it goes completely against their main promise and the reason you pay a premium.

B. Key Features

  • They offer Managed Dedicated Servers with full support.
  • They have a 100% uptime guarantee.
  • You can choose between different control panels like cPanel or Plesk.
  • They have 10 global data centers.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offers

Their 2024 Black Friday sale had some very steep introductory discounts.

  • Offer 1: “Managed Dedicated Hosting”
    • This is their main managed product.
    • It came with an Intel Xeon 1230 v5 CPU, 16GB RAM, two 240GB SSDs, a 2TB backup drive, and 5TB of bandwidth.
    • The Black Friday Price was listed as either $39.50 or $59.50 a month, probably depending on the offer.
    • The Regular Price for this is $199 a month. So the discount was up to 70% off.
  • Offer 2: “Bare Metal Servers”
    • This is their unmanaged option.
    • The Black Friday Price was $23.70 a month.
    • The Regular Price is $79 a month.

D. Black Friday 2024 Details

Now let us look at the details of the Liquid Web offer, because this is another trap you need to watch out for.

The most critical detail is that this is an “introductory trap” deal. The heavily advertised “up to 70% off” discount was only valid for the first 3 months of service. After those 3 months, the price goes all the way back up to the regular $199. That is a price increase of over 400%.

So this is not a permanent discount. It is a short-term acquisition tool. The reason it works is they are hoping you will stay with them because moving a server is a lot of work and has a high friction. You have to be very careful with these kinds of deals that look too good to be true for the long term.

15. Namecheap

A. Company Information

Okay, let us move on to the next one, which is Namecheap.

Now, most people know Namecheap as a domain registrar. They are one of the biggest in the world, started in 2000, and they manage over 17 million domains. That is a huge number. But over the years they have also expanded a lot into hosting services, and they now offer a full range of solutions, including dedicated servers.

B. Key Features

  • They use powerful Xeon processors in their servers.
  • Memory configurations are all DDR4.
  • Their servers are really perfect for applications that need a lot of resources.
  • They offer different processor options. So you can choose from a Xeon E3, an E-2136, or even a massive Dual AMD EPYC. So there are options for different budgets and needs.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer

  • Discount: For Black Friday, they offered a pretty good 55% discount on their dedicated servers. It was a very straightforward deal.
  • Pricing Options:
    • So for example, you could get a Xeon E3-1230 v5 server for about $47.88 per month. This had 4 cores, 8GB of RAM, and a 480GB SSD with unmetered bandwidth.
    • Or if you needed more power, a Xeon E-2136 with 6 cores, 32GB of RAM, and two 480GB SSDs was $71.88 per month.
    • And for the really big stuff, their Dual AMD EPYC 7282 server, with a total of 32 cores, 128GB of RAM and four 1.92TB NVMe drives was $238.88 per month.

So it was a pretty good and direct offer, you know. No complex tricks or anything like that, just a solid discount on some powerful hardware.

16. OVHcloud

A. Company Information

Alright, the next one is a very big name, especially in Europe. OVHcloud.

They were founded in France in 1999 and are a major European cloud provider. Now, what you need to understand about OVHcloud is their biggest advantage. It is something called vertical integration. Basically, they design and build their own custom-made servers. This is very important. The reason they can offer such low prices is because they control the entire supply chain, from manufacturing the hardware to managing the data center.

They have a huge global network, with 30 data centers. Their main locations for North America are in Canada, Virginia, and Oregon.

B. Key Features

  • They offer single-tenant Baremetal infrastructure, so the server is fully dedicated to you.
  • DDoS protection is included for free.
  • They have a wide range of OS and distributions you can install.
  • They have different server ranges designed for different things, you know, like their Eco range for low cost, Rise for general purpose, and Game for hosting game servers.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offers

Okay so for their Black Friday promotion in 2024… to be honest, it was a huge disappointment for a lot of people in the community. The main issue was that it did not include any price discounts on dedicated servers. People were really hoping for deals on their popular servers, but there were no discounts.

D. Black Friday 2024 Details

So what was the offer then?

The Offer: The only deal for dedicated servers in 2024 was that they waived the setup fees. And this offer was only for new customers.

Inventory Catastrophe: But here is what happened. The real problem was a catastrophic inventory issue. People were complaining on forums that “all good servers was out of stock afternoon in europe” and that “any desirable server config has been unavailable pretty much the instant the sales went live”.

The only stock that was left was in data centers that were less desirable for their main user base, like the one in Beauharnois, Canada. If you are in Europe, the latency from Canada is very high, so nobody wanted those servers. This made the “no setup fee” offer pretty much useless because the products people actually wanted to buy were all gone.

So what does this tell us? This suggests that the 2024 Black Friday “sale” was not a real global promotion at all. It was basically a tactic to clear out old stock in data centers that were not performing well. A big letdown for many people, I think.

17. Servarica

A. Company Information

Okay, next on the list is a very interesting one, ServaRICA.

They are a Canadian company, started in 2010. And their main selling point, their primary market differentiator, is all about geopolitics. Because they are a Canadian company, all their servers are hosted only in Montreal, Quebec. And they say this very clearly in their marketing, that they are “not under the same laws as the US providers (e.g: PRISM, Tempora and patriot act)”. This is a very compelling reason for people who are very conscious about their privacy and do not want their data under US jurisdiction.

B. Key Features

  • They are Canadian-owned and operated.
  • All servers are exclusively in Montreal, Canada.
  • They have a privacy-focused positioning.
  • They operate their own multi-homed network with a 99.99% SLA.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offers

Now when we look at their 2024 Black Friday promotions, we see a very clever strategy. It is basically a “perpetual deal”. What I mean is, the server configurations and the prices they marketed as “Black Friday 2024” deals are actually identical to their standard, everyday prices on their website.

I actually saw a company representative on a forum answer a question about when the deals would end. He said, “it depends… sometimes we end them on Feb, and sometimes we do it till Sept”. This confirms it. What they are doing is just using the ‘Black Friday’ name as a marketing label to get all the search traffic during the holiday season. It is smart.

Here is the table of their aggressively priced servers that they were marketing as Black Friday deals.

Plan NameCPUCores / ThreadsRAMStorageNetwork / BandwidthMonthly PriceYearly Price

D. Black Friday 2024 Details

So the “offer” was just their standard pricing. And the “duration” is basically permanent. But what is really interesting is their product lineup. You can see they have two very distinct paths for customers.

  • Compute-focused: These are the modern, high-core-count AMD EPYC servers. They come with very fast NVMe storage and fast, metered 10Gbps bandwidth. Perfect for applications that need a lot of processing power.
  • Storage-focused: These are the older Intel Xeon servers. They come with a massive 256GB of DDR3 RAM and huge amounts of HDD storage, but the network connection is slower and unmetered.

So you choose depending on your need. If you need speed and power, you go for EPYC. If you need massive storage for backups or archives, you go for the Xeon. Simple as that. It is a very clear and well-thought-out strategy.

18. SiteGround

A. Company Information

Alright, the next one we will look at is SiteGround.

SiteGround is a very prominent name in the web hosting world. A lot of people know them. They are known for providing high-quality managed hosting services, and especially for their excellent customer support. They offer multiple tiers of hosting, you know, shared, cloud, VPS, and dedicated servers. They also have data centers in multiple locations which is good for performance.

B. Key Features

  • They have a high-performance hosting infrastructure.
  • The customer support is available 24/7 and it is one of their biggest selling points.
  • You get free SSL certificates and they have good malware protection.
  • You have a choice of multiple data centers.
  • They provide scalable hosting solutions, so you can grow with them.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer

  • Discount: Now, for Black Friday, you will see a big number advertised. Something like up to 88% OFF on select hosting plans.
  • Scope: The advertisement said that dedicated server and premium hosting plans were covered.

But you have to be careful with these big numbers. What happens is, similar to IONOS, this massive 88% discount is almost certainly for their entry-level shared hosting plans. The actual discount on the more expensive dedicated servers would be much smaller. It is a marketing strategy, you know, they use a huge discount to get your attention and bring you to their website. The reason is it creates a lot of excitement for their brand during the sale period.

19. Vultr

A. Company Information

Okay, next is Vultr. Now, Vultr is a bit different from many of the others on this list.

They are really known for being a flexible and scalable cloud platform for developers and businesses. It is more infrastructure-as-a-service. So they are very focused on simplicity and having pricing that is very transparent. They also have a lot of global data centers which is great for performance no matter where your users are.

B. Key Features

  • They offer bare metal single-tenant dedicated servers. This is very important. It means you get direct access to the physical hardware, the GPU, CPU, and memory.
  • There is zero virtualization overhead. What this does is it eliminates the “noisy neighbor” problem, where other users on the same physical machine can slow you down. Here, the whole machine is yours.
  • They provide physical isolation, which is great for enterprises that need high security.
  • The pricing is competitive and very transparent.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer

  • Promotion: So Vultr’s deal is not a percentage off. What they do is they give you free credits. For Black Friday 2024, their offer was $250 in free credits for new customers.
  • Eligibility: This was only available for new customers when they signed up.
  • Scope: The credits could be used for any of their services, including their bare metal dedicated servers.

Basically, this is a free trial. The reason they do this is to let you test their platform without any risk. They are confident that once you build your application on their infrastructure, you will see the performance and you will want to stay with them. It is a very common and effective strategy for cloud providers.

20. Turnkey Internet

A. Company Information

Okay, let us talk about Turnkey Internet. This company has been around for a very long time, since 1999. So they are not a new player, they are an established name in the industry. They are known for having competitive offers and, this is a nice feature, they give you multiple control panel options like cPanel, Direct Admin, or Plesk.

B. Key Features

  • They have been operating since 1999, so they have a long track record.
  • You have multiple control panel options to choose from.
  • They also offer managed VPS options.
  • Lifetime discounts. This is very important. A lifetime discount is a big deal and can save you a lot of money in the long run.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer

  • Discount: They advertised a lifetime discount of up to 90% or 75%, depending on the service.
  • Key Offer: The main offer that was highlighted was a 75% discount on their VPS plans, which started at just $4.99 per month.
  • Additional: You could get an extra 20% discount if you paid for a full year upfront.
  • Coupon Code: They also had coupon codes, like BFTK33 which gave a 33% lifetime discount on their Managed Cloud VPS plans.

So again, you have to read the details. The huge 90% number is the headline, but you need to check what the actual discount is for the specific dedicated server plan you want to buy. But the lifetime discount itself is a great value proposition.

21. Cloud Clusters

A. Company Information

The next one is a company called Cloud Clusters.

To be honest, I do not know them as well as some of the other bigger names. But what they seem to focus on is providing dedicated server hosting for what they call “mission-critical applications”. So, these are applications where latency and uptime are extremely important, you know, things that absolutely cannot go down.

B. Key Features

  • They have various dedicated server configurations you can choose from.
  • You can get either Windows or Linux operating systems.
  • There are no setup fees.
  • You get 1 Dedicated IPv4 IP per server.
  • They offer multiple tiers of performance options and flexible storage.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer (Starting Prices)

So for Black Friday, they did not offer a big percentage discount. Instead, they just listed out their competitive pricing for the event. This way you can see exactly what you get for your money.

Here is a breakdown of their starting prices:

  • Express Dedicated Server – SATA: Starting at $49/month (16GB RAM, 4-Core E3-1230, 240GB SSD + 5TB SATA)
  • Express Dedicated Server – NVMe: Starting at $54/month (32GB RAM, 4-Core E3-1230v3, 240GB SSD + 1TB NVMe + 1TB SATA)
  • Basic Dedicated Server – SSD: Starting at $69/month (64GB RAM, 8-Core E5-2670, 120GB SSD + 960GB SSD)
  • Advanced Dedicated Server – SSD: Starting at $149/month (256GB RAM, 24-Core Dual E5-2697v2)

22. Hetzner

A. Company Information

Ah, Hetzner. Now this is a company that a lot of people in the tech community really love. They are a European provider, from Germany, and they are famous for one main thing: offering extremely low-cost bare metal servers without sacrificing performance. I mean, they have really disrupted the market with their prices. They are also known for their green data centers that focus on being environmentally friendly.

B. Key Features

  • Their cost-effective pricing is probably the lowest in the entire industry for what you get.
  • They have customizable server options.
  • They operate energy-efficient, green data centers.
  • DDoS protection is included.
  • You get high-end hardware for a very cheap price.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer

  • Expected Further Discounts: Now for their 2024 Black Friday deal, the information is a little vague. The source I looked at said that additional discounts were expected, especially for the higher-end servers.
  • Example Configuration: But the main thing to understand about Hetzner is that their everyday prices are already like a Black Friday deal from other companies. For example, you can get a server with an Intel Xeon E3 Processor, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD, and 20TB of monthly bandwidth for around €34 per month. That is about $37. It is just crazy cheap. So even without a special sale, their value is incredible.

23. BigRock

A. Company Information

Okay, and the last company on our list is BigRock.

This is another big Indian hosting provider, similar to Leapswitch. They offer a comprehensive set of hosting solutions, and their main focus is on providing good service to the Indian market, you know, with localized infrastructure and support.

B. Key Features

  • They offer a full range of hosting solutions.
  • Their focus is on the Indian market.
  • They have multiple hosting tiers and scalable infrastructure.
  • The pricing is very competitive for customers in India.

C. 2024 Black Friday Dedicated Server Offer

  • Dedicated Hosting: Their Black Friday deal was very direct and simple. They offered a saving of up to 50% on their dedicated hosting plans.
  • Scope: The discount covered all of their dedicated hosting configurations.
  • So that was a very straightforward deal.

Conclusion

Now what I wanted to do is just give you some final thoughts on all these things. Because just looking at a list of deals is one thing, but understanding the strategy behind them is more important. The main thing is to see the patterns.

I would say, basically, all these Black Friday deals fall into three main types. It is very important to know which one you are looking at so you do not make a mistake.

The Three Types of Black Friday Deals

1. The “Introductory Trap”

The first type is what I call the ‘Introductory Trap’. Liquid Web is the perfect example of this. They give you a huge discount, maybe 70% off which looks amazing. But remember this, it is only for the first 3 months. After that, the price goes up like crazy maybe 400%. What happens is, they are hoping you will be too lazy to move your server after just 3 months. The reason is server migration is a lot of work. So you get stuck paying the super high price. You have to be very, very careful with these. A huge discount for a short time is almost always a trap.

2. The “Marketing Label”

The next one is the ‘Marketing Label’ deal. We saw this with companies like Servarica, and uh, IONOS in a way. Servarica’s Black Friday prices are just their normal, everyday prices. Which are good prices to be honest! But they are just using the “Black Friday” name to get more traffic during the sale season. And with IONOS, they shout about “93% off”, but that is for a cheap shared hosting plan, not the dedicated server you actually want. The discount on the dedicated server is very small, maybe only 15%. It is a marketing trick to get you on their website. It is not dishonest, exactly, but you need to be aware of what is actually on sale.

3. The “Genuine Value”

And the third type, this is the one you are looking for, is the ‘Genuine Value’ deal. To be honest, these are the best ones. Companies like 1GServers or HostSlick, they gave real, substantial discounts on powerful hardware. These were not tricks, just good prices for a limited time. Or you have someone like Hetzner, whose normal prices are so low they are already a deal by themselves. These are the companies that are actually offering you something special for the sale, and this is where you can find some amazing value.

Final Advice

So, what is the takeaway from all this?

The main thing is this: always read the fine print. Always.

Do not just look at the big discount percentage on the front page. You have to look at the renewal price. You have to look at the duration of the discount. Is it for one month, three months, or is it a lifetime discount like the one from Contabo or Turnkey Internet? That is the most important question you can ask.

And know what you need. Do you need high compute power with fast, metered bandwidth like the servers from Servarica? Or do you need huge storage with slower, unmetered bandwidth? Depending on that, you choose the right server for your job.

The OVHcloud inventory problem also shows us something very important. If you see a genuinely good deal from a popular provider, you might have to act fast because the good stuff will sell out. But do not let that pressure you into rushing into a bad deal or an introductory trap.

So that is my breakdown of the 2025 Black Friday dedicated server deals. I hope this guide was actually helpful for you, and that it helps you find a really good deal this year. It is not just about the price, it is about finding the right long-term partner for your project.
